While cleaning out some old files this morning I ran across my 51-slide PowerPoint (before its ability to build slides line by line) of a workshop I presented at many national and regional conferences in 1995 - 1997 called
Should Your Ministry Be On The Internet? My, how far we've come! Some of my slides titles were:
- What Is The Internet?
- What Is Email?
- What Is A Web Page?
- Online Service (AOL, CompuServe, Prodigy) vs ISP
- To Host-- Or Not To Host
So... is your church on the Internet? ;~)
Here's a comment I found in the 6/19/1995 Christianity Today (p6): "Nick B. Nicholaou... tells clients and audiences 'the next ministry wave will be ridden by those offering communication services via one of the cyber networks.'"
ReplyDeleteI was even using surfing metaphors back then! lol
